Hi there, I’m Sunni, an Indigenous (Páⁿka) practitioner at Equilibrium Therapy Group. I came to counseling after realizing I wanted my work to be rooted more deeply in relationships, community, and connection. My own experiences with identity, grief, loss, belonging, and navigating major life transitions have shaped my belief that healing rarely happens in isolation. My approach honors healing as an interconnected process—one that happens through relationship, being witnessed, and having space to make meaning of our experiences. I work from a relational, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach. I’m especially interested in supporting LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients, as well as people navigating generational patterns, grief and loss, relationship concerns, identity exploration, life transitions, and the lasting impact of difficult family or attachment experiences. In our work together, you won’t be expected to show up with everything figured out. I hope to create a space where you can bring all parts of yourself, no matter where they are rooted, and know they’re welcome. Wherever you are in your journey, we can begin there.
