Hello, I’m Susan Fernandez. In my 30 years as a substance use disorder counselor, I’ve seen it all. I’ve worked behind the walls of maximum-security prisons, walked the halls of juvenile detention centers, and sat in the living rooms of families desperate for a way out. My approach is built on a foundation of deep, lived experience (SUDCC III) and a commitment to lifelong learning. I am currently completing my Master’s in Psychology to ensure that my clients receive the highest level of care, blending decades of practical insight with a modern understanding of the human mind. I understand the systems: My history with parole, probation, and corrections means I can help you navigate the legal complexities of recovery. I support the whole family: Addiction doesn't happen in a vacuum, and neither does healing. I believe in change: Whether I’m opening a new sober living home or working one-on-one, my mission is to help you find the hope that leads to transformation. If you’re looking for a counselor who brings 30 years of wisdom and a fresh psychological perspective to the table, I would be honored to support you.
