I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has experience working with children, adolescents, families, adults, couples, and older adults. She specializes in anxiety, OCD, ADHD, relationship issues, and parenting. I strive to create a collaborative and welcoming environment using a person-centered approach, and I believe in individualizing services to the needs of each client. I use a combination of strengths-based approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients work towards their goals. I completed my undergraduate studies in Psychology at the College of Charleston, and went on to receive my Master's Degree in Social Work from The Catholic University of America. Since then, I have worked as a therapist in both residential and outpatient community mental health settings, and most recently served as a Program Director for a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program for children and adolescents in Maryland. My practice has focused on helping children and families build skills to help cope with anxiety, trauma, and life changes, and to help strengthen relationships.
