My work focusses on helping clients understand and heal wounds from childhood that have led to feeling pretty badly about themselves. Most often these wounds show up as low self-esteem, lack of confidence, "imposter syndrome", and troubled personal relationships. Additionally, poor boundaries and ineffective communication skills lead to greater confusion, disappointment and interpersonal conflict. Most adults who seek therapy do so because their lives are not working in important ways. They want more satisfying personal and professional relationships, to accept and feel good about themselves and to feel hopeful about their lives. I am influenced by and draw from a variety of traditions and approaches to healing. I tailor these to each client's specific needs.
