I believe therapy should be a place where you feel comfortable being yourself, feel genuinely heard, and know that you don't have to navigate difficult times on your own. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, so I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable talking openly. Together, we can explore what you're experiencing, gain a better understanding of yourself and your relationships, and work toward the changes you would like to make. Throughout my career of more than 20 years, I have supported people through relationship challenges, difficult life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, and significant medical and emotional challenges. I take a personalized approach to therapy because I believe there is no single approach that works for everyone. I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Adelphi University and master's degrees in Clinical Psychology and Developmental Psychology. Most importantly, I value getting to know each person I work with—their story, their strengths, and what they hope to achieve. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with relationships, facing a major life change, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide an opportunity to gain perspective and find a path forward. My hope is that our work together leaves you feeling more understood, more confident, and better equipped to navigate whatever comes next.
