Welcome to my Simple Practice listing! For more in depth information on me and my practice, please visit my business website at https://www.stormerpsychology.com Before I started my official training as a psychologist in graduate school, I first became interested in the field during an elective Psychology class while still in high school. That led to an undergraduate psychology degree with a minor focus in Gender Studies, and eventually to completing my doctoral degree specializing in behavioral medicine including the treatment of body image disturbance and eating disorders. I provide cognitive behavioral therapy to people who feel under-appreciated and overwhelmed by the demands of life. You may be feeling fatigued, experiencing miscommunication or invalidation in relationships, or struggling to prioritize healthy behaviors. It is possible to feel energized and happy, have higher self-esteem, and feel more comfortable with asking for help when needed. I will help you to practice setting boundaries, improve communication at work/school and home, and learn to treat yourself with more kindness and compassion.
