I am a licensed therapist with over 30 years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of mental health challenges and life transitions. My practice welcomes students, parents, and professionals seeking compassionate, effective care for both situational stressors and long-term concerns. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, separation, divorce, loss, and other significant life events. My therapeutic approach is both welcoming and proactive, designed to help patients feel safe while working toward meaningful change. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma for Adolescents (ITCT-A), and basic EMDR treatment models. I also incorporate Person-Centered and Psychodynamic techniques to tailor treatment to each individual’s needs. The length of therapy varies based on the severity of concerns and each patient’s unique circumstances. My career began as a youth counselor during college, followed by work in foster care, partial and residential settings, and over a decade supporting incarcerated youth in the juvenile justice system. Since 2017, I have been in private practice, dedicated to helping patients build resilience and find healing.
