Introduction

Hi, I’m Suzanne LaFleur, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of LaFleur Counseling & Wellness, Licensed Clinical Social Worker P.C. I provide therapy for children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, social anxiety, relationship challenges, academic stress, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, inner child work, and motivational interviewing. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may be holding you back, strengthen your coping skills, and help you move toward meaningful change. What makes my practice unique is the balance of professionalism and genuine care I bring to each session. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel seen, heard, and supported in your growth. Whether we meet in-person in my San Diego office or through telehealth anywhere in California, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself and others.
