Hi, I’m Syd! I work primarily with LGBTQIA+ folks, people navigating identity and life transitions, and those who have felt misunderstood or out of place in traditional systems of care. I also work with individuals, couples, non-monogamous and poly partners, and families navigating relational challenges. As a queer, neurodivergent, and chronically ill therapist, I’m committed to disability advocacy, social justice, and anti-oppressive care. My approach is relational, collaborative, and trauma-informed, drawing from attachment and family systems, narrative therapy, IFS/parts work, and art therapy. Together, we might explore internalized stories, befriend protective parts, work through relationship patterns, or find new ways of coping and connecting. I also integrate creative and expressive tools like collage, drawing, metaphor, or music to explore experiences that words may not capture. For clients who are interested, I’m open to exploring spirituality and meaning-making through practices like tarot, astrology, magic, and ritual. I look forward to connecting with you!
