Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Many of the clients I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or hard on themselves, struggling with anxiety, difficult emotions, relationship challenges, or patterns that keep repeating despite their efforts to change. I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, attachment wounds, identity development, and major life transitions. I also support clients who struggle with emotional regulation, people-pleasing, perfectionism, shame, self-doubt, and building healthier boundaries in relationships. Many clients come to therapy wanting to better understand their relational patterns and learn how to feel more secure, connected, and authentic in their relationships with others and with themselves. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, somatic and trauma-informed approaches, and attachment-focused and relational work. Together, we explore the deeper roots of patterns while developing practical tools to regulate emotions, strengthen self-awareness, and navigate relationships with greater clarity and confidence. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working in health and wellness as a yoga instructor, personal trainer, and nutrition coach. This background informs my holistic perspective on mental health and the strong connection between mind and body. I often integrate nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, and mindfulness practices to help clients feel more grounded, safe, and comfortable in their bodies and within themselves. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental space where you feel supported, understood, and empowered. Therapy with me is both reflective and skill-building, helping you develop the tools and self-understanding needed to feel more regulated, more connected, and more compassionate toward yourself. Ultimately, I hope that our work together helps you feel safer, more confident, and loving toward yourself while building the resilience and skills needed to navigate life and relationships with greater ease and authenticity.
