Introduction

Child and Teen Therapist | Play Therapy & Family Counseling I’m a compassionate child and teen therapist who helps young people and families navigate life’s challenges with confidence and connection. With a background as a school counselor, play therapist, and community mental health provider, I bring both professional expertise and real-world understanding to every session. Supporting Children Through Play Therapy For children, I use play therapy and expressive techniques to help them communicate feelings, build coping skills, and manage anxiety, anger, or behavioral struggles. Play allows kids to express what they can’t always say in words, helping them heal, grow, and develop emotional resilience. My child therapy sessions provide a safe, supportive space where kids can explore their emotions and learn new ways to handle life’s ups and downs. Helping Teens Navigate Risky Behaviors and Emotional Challenges For teens, I provide a trusted, judgment-free space to talk about identity, peer pressure, relationships, and stress. I specialize in teen counseling for risky behaviors, including self-harm, substance use, impulsivity, and emotional regulation challenges. My approach combines compassion, accountability, and evidence-based strategies to help teens build confidence, strengthen decision-making skills, and reconnect with themselves and their families. Family Therapy and Parent Support I believe the best outcomes happen when the whole family feels supported. I work collaboratively with parents to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and create consistent, nurturing environments at home. As both a therapist and a mom, I understand how challenging parenting can be—and I’m here to offer both practical tools and emotional support along the way. Whether your child needs a creative outlet to manage emotions or your teen is struggling with risky behaviors or mental health challenges, I’m here to help. I offer play therapy, teen counseling, and family therapy designed to foster connection, confidence, and lasting growth. If you’re looking for a warm, experienced therapist who can support your child or teen through life’s challenges, I’d be honored to work with your family. I am looking forward to talking with you soon.
