It's wonderful that you have made it this far in seeking out therapy; this pursuit is not often an easy one. While I believe that therapy is work, it is not work that you have to do alone. Something to know about me is that I have always wanted to be a therapist; from the time I was 11-years-old I knew that working closely and intimately with others to support their mental health and wellness was what I was meant to do. Today, I remain committed to that goal in my practice. With a lens towards the relational and the interpersonal, if you choose to work with me, you will see that I aim to get to know you and to understand the challenges you are experiencing in order to support you with navigating those challenges and hopefully bring some ease to your life. As a Black, Queer and Neurodivergent human being, I believe in holding space for all of the complexities and identities that make us who we are. Together, through openness, compassion and guided exploration we will draw on my expertise and your own lived experiences and relationship to others so that you can learn more about yourself and your needs. The process of learning and knowing yourself is the surest heading for maintaining wellness.
