I’m so glad you’re here, because you deserve support. You are deeply valued, and if you’re struggling to believe that, feeling exhausted by your relationship with food, movement, or your body, or carrying the weight of trauma or anxiety, you are not alone. There is hope. I’m a resident in counseling based in Charlottesville, VA, and I’m passionate about walking alongside teens, college students, and adults navigating eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, and self-esteem challenges. My approach to therapy is holistic, trauma-informed, and aligned with Health at Every Size (HAES). Here, you’re allowed to feel, be yourself, and even have fun. If food, movement, or body image feels complicated or painful, I see you. My own recovery journey, along with my background as a mother/baby nurse and cross-country coach, gives me a deep understanding of these struggles. I also enjoy supporting athletes, college students, and individuals navigating life transitions. I offer EMDR, a trauma-focused therapy that helps process difficult experiences and supports nervous system healing. Therapy with me is a space to feel safe, empowered, and fully yourself, and yes, we can laugh together too, because that’s part of healing. Whether we meet in person in Charlottesville, outdoors for walk-and-talk sessions, or via telehealth, you’re welcome exactly as you are. All backgrounds and beliefs are welcome. I offer Christian integration when desired and have experience supporting members of the LGBTQIA+ community. You matter.
