Introduction

You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or exhausted from carrying more than others realize. Perhaps you are navigating trauma, relationship challenges, identity concerns, burnout, pregnancy, postpartum changes, parenthood, or another major life transition. You do not have to work through it alone. A Journey to Healing Counseling, PLLC is a therapy practice offering virtual/in-person services supporting individuals, couples, and families throughout Connecticut. We specialize in anxiety, trauma, maternal and perinatal mental health, identity exploration, relationship concerns, and life transitions. Our clinicians have particular experience supporting BIPOC and LGBTQ+ clients and understand the importance of receiving care that respects your identity, culture, relationships, and lived experiences. Depending on your needs and the clinician you work with, treatment may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and other trauma-informed approaches. Our goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself while developing practical tools, processing difficult experiences, and creating meaningful change. While I am not currently practicing or accepting clients personally, our experienced clinicians are available to help you take the next step. Contact A Journey to Healing Counseling today to learn more and connect with a therapist who may be a good fit for your needs.
