Introduction

Hello! My name is Tamara (Tami Samson), and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with three decades of supporting young children, grade school children, tweens, young adults, and families through adjustment issues, family conflict, behavioral challenges, school social and emotional challenges, and parenting challenges. My approach is holistic and collaborative. I use a variety of effective, evidence based modalities to support clients, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Play Therapy, and Family Systems Therapy. My goal as a clinician is to provide clients and families with a safe space to express themselves without judgement, identify their individual strengths, and learn valuable skills and strategies that support and assist them through the therapeutic process. I hold both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology and a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I have been a Licensed clinician for almost 30 years, spending many of those years as a school-based social worker. The first step is often the hardest, so I applaud your courage for reaching out. I invite you to connect with me, and together let’s uncover the healthiest and best version of you and/or your family. Take good care, Tami
