Hi, I am Tami. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy works best when you feel comfortable enough to be honest, understood enough to feel less alone, and supported enough to try something different. For more than two decades, my life has been shaped by military service through the family I have proudly supported. As the spouse of an active-duty service member for over 20 years, I have experienced the many moves, deployments, changing communities, and uncertainty that come with military life. Together, my husband and I have raised our son within that lifestyle, and today, he continues the family's legacy of service as an active-duty Soldier. These experiences have given me a deeply personal understanding sacrifice, adaptability, what it means to build a home in unfamiliar places, create community wherever life leads, navigate seasons of separation, and continue moving forward through uncertainty. Supporting service members, veterans, military spouses, and their children is more than a professional passion, it is part of who she is and will always remain at the heart Through my professional journey I have served an incredibly diverse range of individuals and communities across the country. I have worked with individuals experiencing homelessness and financial hardship in Los Angeles, partnered with young children, educators, and families in early childhood programs throughout Louisiana, supported at-risk youth and families in North Carolina, nonprofit organizations, schools, community-based programs, and private practice. These experiences have strengthened my belief that healing begins with connection, compassion, and meeting each person where they are. My work is relational, strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals, drawing from evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, and solution-focused therapy. Her style is warm, collaborative, and practical. We’ll look at what’s happening now, understand what may be keeping you stuck, and find an approach that fits you.
