Introduction

Hello. I'm Tanya and I'm glad you've landed here on my page. I am very excited for the opportunity to work with you. Although I am newly licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and Therapist, I am not new to helping others heal and grow. For more than 20 years, I have provided therapy, coaching, and supportive services to individuals across the lifespan. My experience includes working with middle and high school students, college students, young adults, adults, and older adults, helping clients navigate life’s challenges with compassion, empathy, and practical guidance. My clinical journey formally began in 2017, providing therapeutic services through the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) and Nexus Youth and Families. These experiences strengthened my clinical skills while reinforcing what I have always known—that serving others is not simply my profession; it is my calling. As a Christian therapist, my faith shapes the way I care for others. While I honor each client’s unique beliefs and values, I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where healing, hope, and personal growth can flourish. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is built on trust, confidentiality, cultural humility, and genuine presence. Every client deserves to feel heard, valued, and supported. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside each person on their journey, and I am deeply invested in helping my clients discover their strengths, overcome obstacles, and achieve meaningful, lasting growth.
