Introduction

Therapy is a chance for us to explore the inner workings of our minds, beliefs, and practices in order to live more holistic, fulfilling lives. Many of us have never been able to explore or process difficult emotions, nor approach relationships with authenticity, vulnerability, and compassion. All too often, we are asked to sacrifice our needs; take up less space; or make room for others. I created BLACC to be a center for Black healing, joy, community, liberation, and freedom. Here, your existence is not up for debate. You don’t have to compromise. I utilize a trauma-informed, solution-focused, client-centered approach – meaning that my role is to help you create solutions for your concerns in a safe and supportive environment. You are the expert of your own experience, and we will discover where your truths lie within you, together. I specialize in working with Black individuals who identify as: women, LGBTQ2S+, neurodivergent, kink positive, sex workers, non-monogamous and/or polyamorous. Nevertheless, I have experience working with individuals from all walks of life, and I welcome and encourage you to reach out if my practice sounds like a good fit for you!
