I provide individual counseling for adults and teens navigating the overwhelming effects of big emotions, impulsive behaviors, and past trauma. My work is grounded in helping clients build a foundation of stability and self-compassion using DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). For select clients, I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help them process and resolve the traumatic memories that continue to drive distress. In my family work, I integrate DBT with Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) to move families from conflict and blame to strengthened and repaired bonds. I also hold a specialized focus in supporting medical professionals—doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers. Drawing on my prior training in medical anthropology, I help medical professionals move beyond chronic anxiety, depression, and overwhelm to reconnect with self-nurturing, restore balance, and rediscover contentment in their lives. WA clients only. If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, and ready for positive change, reach out. I will provide a comfortable, non-judgmental space for you to receive the support, understanding, and accountability you need to identify struggles and generate new strategies that are authentic and helpful for you.
