Welcome! I’m Taryn, a heart-centered, holistic Occupational Therapist with 23 years of experience, devoted to supporting the connection between body, mind, and deeper inner knowing. I am a qualified mental health professional in Oregon, drawing on Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Attachment Theory, Tensegrity Medicine, and somatic practices to help you reconnect with your innate wisdom and capacity for healing. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and honors the whole person, with an emphasis on living in alignment with your truth. I also integrate biofeedback, light touch techniques, myofascial assessment, and sensory processing principles when appropriate. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and challenges related to sexuality, spirituality and mind-body health. I am especially drawn to supporting those wanting a holistic mind-body approach and often see highly sensitive, intuitive and neurodivergent individuals. Many of my clients are also experiencing shifts in their nervous system or sensory awareness—such as increased sensitivity, overwhelm, or difficulty feeling regulated. Together, we focus on building clarity, regulation, and a more grounded, authentic way of being. In addition to mental health, I specialize in treating upper extremity pain, chronic pain, autoimmune diseases, ongoing illness, and have experience supporting individuals navigating cancer. I am familiar with EDS, MCAS, Dysautonomia, POTs etc I offer a limited number of pediatric spots for both mental health and traditional Occupational Therapy, specializing in children with autism and sensory differences. I am particularly drawn to supporting children who are highly sensitive, intuitive, and deeply aware, and who benefit from an approach that respects their inner world while helping them feel safe and regulated in their bodies. I also offer optional sessions that include energy work and somatic channeling for those who feel called to a more expansive approach. These sessions support intuitive insight and deeper mind-body awareness, and are offered separately from clinical services. They are not covered by insurance and are not considered mental health or occupational therapy treatment.
