Introduction

You've been strong for everyone else. Now it's time to care for yourself. At Walk With Me Counseling Center, we support women, men, and couples across Illinois who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Our three specialized therapists—Deja Phillips, Tasha K. Young, and Veleka Avant—offer compassionate, culturally responsive care that meets you exactly where you are. We believe healing begins with clarity. That boundaries are an act of love. That you deserve support just as much as you give it. Our approach is simple: we don't just talk about your challenges—we give you tools that work. Through evidence-based methods like EMDR, Brainspotting, CBT, and trauma-informed care, we help you build the life you want: peaceful, confident, and fully yours. Whether you're struggling with anxiety that won't let up, trauma you can't seem to move past, or relationship patterns that keep repeating—we're here to walk with you through healing and growth. Therapy should be simple and effective. That's why we offer convenient online sessions that fit your life. Monday through Thursday, day and evening appointments. No commute, no waiting rooms. Just you, in a space where you feel safe. You don't need to have it all figured out to begin. We'll meet you where you are, and walk with you from there. **Our Therapists:** **Deja Phillips, LCPC** - Specializes in couples counseling, anxiety, and depression.
