Hello! I am always happy to see people taking efforts to receive support with their mental health and here you are! I want to ensure that you receive the best care for you. I enjoy working with clients who are open to validation as well as having someone challenge them in a supportive way. My hope is that clients feel that the therapist/client relationship is a collaboration to enhance their life. I hope to connect with clients and encourage them to experience and cope with their emotions safely, in the ups and downs of life. I appreciate open communication and value intentional honesty from both myself and my clients. I have extensive training in eating disorder treatment and understand the nuance and delicacy that is presented with that population. I am trained in dialectical behavioral therapy and help clients applying those skills into everyday life. Along eating disorders and DBT, I have experience working with perinatal mental health. I have seen the impacts of healing and I want to help others experience that as well. When life is accompanied with a sense of dread, finding hope and putting the effort into change takes time and energy. Acknowledging that while also persevering through will create the shifts needed to experience life fully, confidently, and peacefully.
