Hello, I’m Taylor Pennington, a Temporary Licensed Psychological Associate dedicated to supporting individuals within the neurodivergent community. My passion for this work began in 2009 when I began working as a camp counselor at a specialized camp for adults and children with physical and developmental disabilities. My experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and those within the neurodivergent community motivated me to pursue training and education as a psychologist aiming to center neurodiversity-affirming care. I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults who identify as autistic, ADHD, or otherwise neurodivergent. I also enjoy supporting families as they navigate the unique joys and challenges of neurodiversity. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and deeply respectful of each individual’s lived experience. I aim to create a safe, accepting environment where clients can explore their identities, develop self-advocacy skills, and work toward their personal goals. I believe that everyone deserves to be understood and supported as they are. My services are designed to help clients recognize and build upon their inherent strengths, while addressing areas of challenge in ways that are practical and affirming. Whether you’re seeking assessment, skill-building, or a safe space to process life’s complexities, I am here to provide guidance, encouragement, and meaningful support. I look forward to connecting with you and being a part of your journey toward greater self-understanding and empowerment.
