I am no different than the clients I see. Just like everyone else, I am human and experience challenges, and triumphs. Together, we will begin to learn, acquire and utilize skills that will be needed to live the most meaningful life possible. I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC in 2012 and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2019. I like to use a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing to support clients in their process to wellness. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings in North and South Carolina and have over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Arizona State University. Honestly, it is tough...but so am I! My agenda is to walk with my clients through the “shenanigans” of life with a relaxed, genuine and straight-forward approach. I am passionate about building therapeutic relationships and offering support in a safe and a non-judgmental space. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, re-watching 90s sitcoms, and engaging in self-care activities, and I mean A LOT of self-care!
