If you really think about it…… Life is all about our relationships: Couples, Marriage, Families, Friends, Co-Workers, etc. There are so many wonderful and joyous things about relationship and then there are also the painful things: broken promises, betrayal, abandonment, endless conflict, lack of trust, addictions, anger, avoidance and much more. These all create fear, pain, rejection and loneliness. We are all continuously working on how to deal with the relationships in our lives, in a more healthy and secure way. All of us are just in search of Acceptance, Belonging, Comfort and Safety. It’s what I call the ABC’S of life. If you are feeling disconnected, misunderstood, sad, anxious and/or angry, it is likely related to some relationship(s) in your life. Counseling, whether individually or with another person in your life, can help. I know it is often a bit scary to take that first step to seek help. However, from the moment you enter my office or see me online for the first time, I try to ease that fear for you. I want you to have no doubt that your decision to seek help was the right one. My primary goal is to always create an atmosphere that makes you feel safe and comfortable enough to face what is distressing you. No matter what your desires and hopes are in your life and what is blocking you attaining them - I can help you figure it out. I am a certified Emotionally Focused Therapy therapist and supervisor.
