Hello! My name is Tessa and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with you! I am very family oriented and love to spend time with my husband, children and grandchildren, and of course our fur babies! Our family loves to spend time exploring small towns, forgotten places and spend the rest of our free time on the racetrack. I hold a Master’s degree in clinical mental health from Southern New Hampshire University. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in child psychology and specialize in working with individuals from all walks of life. I approach therapy from a person-centered perspective, meaning you are the expert in you, and my focus is to fully understand your life experiences and perspectives that lead us to find opportunities for healing. Working from a client centered perspective, we will talk about goal setting in the first session and walk through the counseling process, so you can know what to expect. I practice unconditional positive regard and want to create a safe, warm, inviting and supportive space for all who come in. I have experience in Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, and Autism both professionally and personally, among various other diagnoses and work with individuals young to the young at heart. I am an ally of the LGBTQIA2S+ Community. Helping people heal has always been my passion and I look forward to meeting with you!
