Introduction

Tessa (she/her) is the owner of Mountain Soul Medicine, and a psychotherapist with Higher Sights Counseling. Tessa received her graduate degree in Counseling-Clinical Mental Health at Regis University and holds a certificate in Depth Psychology. She enjoys bringing a deeper spiritual and existential lens to work with clients, when appropriate, along with a very person-centered and trauma-informed approach. With a history of diversity, equity, and inclusion work, she is dedicated to access and equity, using multicultural and systems approaches. Tessa holds a Master of Arts in Social Justice and Ethics from Iliff School of Theology (2018) and a Bachelor of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies from Naropa University (2015). She has taught preschool, founded a local food cooperative, facilitated restorative practice workshops and circles, worked with youth involved in the juvenile justice system, and moms navigating the perinatal period.
