Introduction

I believe that understanding comes before change. Rather than jumping to fix what feels broken, I work to explore the emotional coherence behind your behaviors—the deeper logic your mind and body are using to protect you. As a counselor, I specialize in helping individuals from teens through elders navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, substance use, attachment challenges, and the complex feelings that arise from abandonment or dissociation. I'm trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), attachment-based work, and motivational interviewing, and I draw on existential and strength-based approaches to meet you where you are. My style is warm and actively attuned; I listen closely and remain flexible, adjusting our work together to help you feel safer and more seen. I accept Aetna and Oregon Health Plan insurance, and I'm currently accepting new clients for both telehealth and in-person sessions. If you're ready to explore what's beneath the surface, I'm here.
