I earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health at Lakeland University in 2025. I currently have training licenses in Professional Counseling and Substance Abuse Counseling issued by the State of Wisconsin and certification in counseling by the National Board of Certified Counseling. My focus includes an array of mental health concerns and have treated, but are not limited to: Substance Use, Anger, Anxiety, Depression, Family/couple disorders, and more. My main approaches in therapy are practices from person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and Rational Emotive Behavior therapy as I view every person as unique and different. I like to pair these approaches with IFS (Internal Family System Model) and TTM (Transtheoretical Model). I also have clients who explore play and role playing as these will shed light on topics we struggle to verbalize at times. I focus on tailoring each treatment to the client’s specific needs while being direct in terminology to ensure clients begin to take hold of problems/struggles at hand. I have experiences treating a broad range of diagnosis ranging from co-occurring disorders, substance abuse, and mental health disorders. I am fluent in Hmong and English.
