As a mental health counselor at Egger NP, my goal is to provide a therapeutic space for reflection, goal-setting, and growth. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal issues. By emphasizing the strengths and attributes of each individual, I empower them to use therapeutic techniques to improve their functioning, decrease stress, and introduce more adaptive routines into daily life. I am trained in a multitude of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Client-Centered Therapy (CCT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy (MBT), and Existential Therapy. I also integrate multiculturalism into the therapy session, where we explore the individual’s relationship with their culture and society. I utilize these evidence-based approaches by tailoring them to the needs and goals of each individual. These tailored approaches, combined with empathetic understanding, allows for clients to improve their functioning while also celebrating their strengths and supporting their emotional needs.
