Introduction

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC) with a unique background—18 years as a nurse (14 in Emergency Medicine) and 3 years as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) shaped how I work with trauma today. I earned my Master's degree in Counseling and Mental Health Counseling at Adler Graduate School with specialized training in Expressive Arts Therapy, which allows me to help people process difficult experiences through creative modalities alongside traditional talk therapy. I work with individuals across the lifespan, from children through elders, addressing anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, life transitions, and the unique stressors faced by medical professionals and first responders. I'm particularly skilled in supporting LGBTQIA+ clients, racial identity work, and navigating major life changes like divorce. My in-person office in Durango offers a welcoming space for healing, and I also provide telehealth sessions. I accept multiple insurance plans and am currently accepting new clients. Whether you're processing trauma, building coping skills, or seeking support through a challenging season, I'm here to meet you where you are.
