I’m Theresa, a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with over 10 years of experience and more than 20 years in the social work field. I’ve supported individuals in community mental health centers, treatment programs, housing support and outreach organizations. I have also worked with criminal justice involved individuals, abuse survivors and their families. I have also worked with those going through life transitions and those navigating religious and spiritual trauma. I help clients navigate trauma, depression, anxiety, chronic illness including traumatic brain injuries, and the emotional challenges that come with these experiences. I also work with neurodivergent individuals, supporting symptom management, self‑understanding, and the development of supportive networks. My approach often integrates art, music, and somatic awareness to create space for expression beyond words. As a queer‑affirming therapist, I believe each person brings unique strengths and deserves a place where they feel understood and supported. Together, we’ll identify what’s holding you back and build a path toward your goals using evidence‑based approaches such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and Flash Technique. Therapy is most effective when it honors both the difficult and the hopeful parts of your story. I offer telehealth and in-person sessions in Murray, Utah.
