Introduction

The environment I strive to create in counseling is one of unconditional acceptance and safety. My approach to counseling comes from the Existential school of thought. Together and without judgment, we can explore difficult topics like the feeling of meaninglessness of existence, the impermanence of all, and the anxiety that comes from our freedom to be the authors of our lives. The journey to find meaning and purpose in life can at times feel isolating, however you do not have to walk down that road alone. We will collaborate on finding joy in and making sense of your life's journey through a lens of empowerment. As a licensed therapist and clinical supervisor with training in EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Informed Care, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I have a toolbox of skills that can help you build the life that you want to live for yourself.
