I specialize in treating co-occurring disorders—when anxiety, depression, or trauma intertwines with addictive patterns. I understand that addiction isn't a moral failure; it's a learned way of managing pain and overwhelming emotion. Nearly one in three Americans experience this overlap, and treating both conditions simultaneously is essential for lasting change. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), behavioral therapy, and family work to help you understand what these patterns are doing for you and build genuine alternatives. I work with teenagers, adults, and elders—both individually and with couples—in person or via telehealth. I accept most major insurance plans, and I'm currently accepting new clients. If you're ready to move beyond shame and toward clarity, I'm here.
