Thoughtful Psychiatry: Our approach to both therapy and medication management tends to be psychodynamic. We seek to understand our patients, we are less interested in symptoms and more interested in understanding our patients as individuals. We are judicious when prescribing. We believe that medications are only one part of the therapeutic process. Patients receiving medications are also required to be in psychotherapy.
