I believe that healing doesn’t begin with trying to “fix” who we are—it begins with being willing to see ourselves clearly and hold ourselves with non-judgment. There are no “bad” parts of us. Most of us carry stories, patterns, and protective responses that were formed in environments where we did not feel fully safe, seen, or supported. In my work, I help people gently begin to uncover those layers with curiosity and compassion. My work is grounded in walking alongside those I serve to rebuild a sense of safety, agency, and trust in themselves. I provide a welcoming and affirming space for clients across all identities, and have specialized experience in working with individuals in the LGBTQIA+ community. With a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University and a background in philosophy, I bring both an evidence-based approach and a thoughtful, holistic lens to the work I do. I provide both individual and group therapy, and have received extensive training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and IFS (Internal Family Systems). I am also trained and certified in hypnosis and hypnotherapy through The Wellness Institute, allowing me to integrate deeply focused, evidence-informed techniques into my work when appropriate. I specialize in working with survivors of domestic violence and abusive relationships, PTSD and C-PTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), depression, anxiety, mood disorders, bereavement, and Prolonged Grief Disorder. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I take pride in serving the unique and important needs of my LGBTQIA+ community members and their families. I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan—from young children to teenagers to older adults healing from long-standing patterns of trauma—and am attuned to the unique challenges that arise at different life stages. I tailor my approach to meet clients where they are, developmentally and emotionally. I am committed to building genuine, trusting relationships with my clients and providing a collaborative environment where they feel empowered to trust themselves and their healing process.
