I’m a structured, practical therapist with a special interest in where mental health, family life, and the legal system meet. Whether you’re working through court involvement, recovery from substance use, or a family that wants to reconnect, I’ll help you make sense of what’s happening and build a clear plan forward. I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families on trauma, substance use, mood concerns, family conflict, relationship challenges, and behavioral challenges. My graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling included specializations in Substance Abuse, Forensic Psychology, and Marriage and Family Counseling, so I’m comfortable looking at the whole picture. Sessions with me are structured and collaborative. We’ll build insight, strengthen coping and emotional regulation skills, and practice healthier patterns you can use in everyday life. I draw on CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, family systems work, and Emotionally Focused Therapy, and with kids I often bring in play and expressive arts. I’m also pursuing my doctorate in forensic psychology, with a focus on trauma, incarceration, and rehabilitation. I believe in second chances and in everyone’s capacity to grow, and that belief shows up in every session. If you’re ready for clear, practical support, I’d be glad to work with you.
