I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Approved Clinical Supervisor. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Counseling and Supervision. I have a decade of experience providing counseling in a variety of different settings such as college counseling centers, inpatient settings, in-home, and outpatient settings. I have worked with clients of all ages coping with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, racial and multicultural concerns, relationship issues, family of origin issues, life transitions, and trauma. I believe therapy should provide a space where clients can share their full story, not just their symptoms, and explore the ways culture, family history, relationships, and systemic experiences shape emotional well-being. I understand the importance of representation in therapy and am passionate about creating spaces where clients feel seen, heard, and understood.
