Tiffany Hendershot is a psychotherapist, military officer, and founder of Upstream Behavioral Health. Her work is grounded in a simple belief: mental health care should be proactive, productive, and rooted in real understanding... not just symptom management. Her background in social psychology shapes how she understands people...not in isolation, but in the context of their environments, relationships, and lived experiences. She helps clients recognize how patterns are shaped by systems such as family dynamics, culture, and high-stress roles, and works with them to create change that is both internally meaningful and sustainable in the real world. Tiffany specializes in trauma, anxiety, and depression, using approaches like EMDR to help clients process experiences at their core, not just cope with them. She has worked extensively with veterans, first responders, families, and community systems, and is especially passionate about helping people understand the patterns that keep them stuck. She founded Upstream Behavioral Health to expand access to care in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, and to create a space where people can do meaningful, lasting, life-changing work.
