I’m Tiffany Settles, a licensed mental health counselor based in Florida, and I’m grateful you’re here. My journey in this field began in 2005 after earning my Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I started my career as a behavioral tech in an adolescent residential program, supporting teens facing moderate to severe mental health and behavioral challenges. That experience shaped my understanding of how deeply people desire to be seen, heard, and guided with genuine care. It also inspired me to move toward one-on-one work, complete my master’s in clinical psychology, and build a therapeutic practice rooted in connection and compassion. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, stress, and major life transitions. I draw from a wide range of therapeutic modalities to help clients gain clarity, build emotional resilience, and strengthen their ability to manage life on their terms. I’ve learned that no two people experience the world in the same way, which is why I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs, perspectives, and lived realities of each person I sit with. My goal is never to treat symptoms in isolation—I treat the whole person. My style is grounded in humanistic and person-centered principles. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your internal world with honesty and curiosity. I encourage my clients to practice grace, compassion, and gentleness with themselves because life already asks so much of us. You don’t have to carry everything alone. Together, we can untangle the stress, confusion, and emotional weight you’ve been holding, so you can see more clearly and make choices that honor who you are and who you want to become. I also bring my lived experience to my work. As someone who has managed type 1 diabetes for more than thirty-five years, I understand what it means to navigate a chronic condition, daily uncertainty, and the emotional fatigue that can follow. The same coping tools, grounding skills, and mind-body strategies I use to stay balanced are the ones I teach my clients. I share this because healing is not about perfection—it’s about finding stability, self-understanding, and peace even when life is complicated. You are a whole person, not a collection of symptoms. You deserve a space where you can slow down, breathe, feel supported, and learn to reclaim control over your life. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to begin, I’m here to walk that path with you. Let’s work together to create the clarity, healing, and inner steadiness you’ve been longing for.
