Hi, I’m Tiffany. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Alabama and Massachusetts, a trained clinical supervisor, and a therapist with specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and adoption-competent therapy (TAC). I am currently pursuing my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) at Capella University. I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Jacksonville State University and my Master of Social Work from The University of Alabama. I have over nine years of experience across multiple areas of social work, including child welfare, medical social work, substance use treatment, and inpatient and outpatient psychotherapy. I am the owner and therapist at Breakthrough Beginnings, LLC, where I provide individual, family, relationship, and adoption-competent therapy. Through my Training for Adoption Competency (TAC), I specialize in supporting adoptees, adoptive families, foster families, and individuals navigating attachment, trauma, identity, and life transitions. My approach is nonjudgmental, supportive, and strengths-based. I integrate DBT principles, trauma-informed care, and adoption-competent practices to help clients build emotional regulation, improve relationships, and develop effective coping skills. A BREAKTHROUGH is defined as something that changes the course of your life going forward and ensures that things will never be the same for you again. It takes courage to take that first step, and I am here to support you through the process.
