At a glance, things may seem to be working. Yet something underneath can still feel off. I work with trauma-related patterns that lie beneath high-functioning exteriors. Together we explore how past and present are connected, shifting emotional responses that no longer serve you. My therapeutic style is direct, grounded, and compassionate. I have a bachelor's and master's degree in social work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and bring ten years of clinical experience to my practice. My early work experience was with substance use and process addictions. At the University of Nebraska Medical Center I collaborated with a team of psychiatrists and therapists to create and deliver programming for the hospital's first Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), where I also provided clinical care. Later at Family Enrichment, Omaha's longest-standing group practice, I grew professionally as a third managing partner. There I helped oversee operations of the practice and compliance with regulatory requirements, in addition to providing therapy. Today I maintain a solo practice and hold licenses in Nebraska, Colorado, and Iowa. I have served on professional boards, I supervise students, and participate in consultation groups that challenge me to stay current with best practices.
