Something feels off — and you're not sure how to fix it. Maybe anxiety is running the show. Maybe your relationship keeps hitting the same wall. Maybe you've built a good life that still feels hollow. Whatever brought you here, I want you to know: you're not broken. You're human — and sometimes humans get stuck. That's where we start. Together we slow things down to reconnect you with your emotions, needs, values, and relationships — so change feels meaningful and lasting. I'm Tim Jackson, a therapist in East Nashville and online across Tennessee and Virginia. I work with individuals and couples ready to do something different. Approach / Treatment Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — both grounded in attachment science — we slow things down long enough to understand what's actually happening beneath the surface: the patterns, the pain, the places you keep getting caught. This isn't about symptom management. It's about building real emotional clarity, more secure relationships, and a sense of self that can actually hold up under pressure. I also bring years of experience teaching human behavior, so our sessions are both relationally warm and research-informed — not one or the other. If you're ready, I'd love to hear from you. Finances / Fees Sessions are $175, due at the time of service. I work with new clients on a private pay basis. If you have a PPO plan I can provide a superbill after each session for potential out-of-network reimbursement. HSA and FSA funds apply.
