Introduction
I help men in committed relationships who feel stuck between saying nothing and saying too much — and paying for it either way. Many of the men I work with describe the same pattern: “When I finally tell my wife how I feel, she'll get upset — and suddenly I’m apologizing, even though I haven’t done anything wrong.” Over time, this dynamic teaches men to shut down. Silence feels safer than honesty. Anger becomes the only emotion that gets expressed — and even that comes at a cost. When men can better describe their inner experience their relationships grow rapidly. My work focuses on helping men: Communicate without escalating conflict Express frustration, hurt, and needs without withdrawing or exploding Address resentment before it hardens Create enough emotional space for both partners to feel heard. I have extensive experience supporting men with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, substance use, and issues rooted in childhood neglect or abuse. Men are rarely given models for healthy emotional expression. I consider it a privilege to offer a space grounded in honesty, humor, and respect — where men don’t have to perform, fix, or apologize for existing.
