Paradise Institute was founded by Timothy Vermillion, DSW, MS, Ed.M, LCSW, BCD, a doctoral-level clinician, EMDR trainer and consultant, and U.S. Army Veteran with more than two decades of experience working with Service Members, Veterans, and their families. The approach is shaped by long experience in military, VA, and civilian settings, and by the belief that effective care should be both skilled and down-to-earth. Services provided through this portal may include: • Trauma-focused therapy, including EMDR • Professional consultation for clinicians • Coaching focused on transition, performance, and sustainable growth While these services serve different purposes, they share the same foundation: clear goals, collaboration, and respect for your ability to make your own decisions. Therapy focuses on treatment and symptom relief. Consultation supports professional growth and clinical decision-making. Coaching is focused on the present and future and does not provide mental health treatment. Paradise Institute operates on a private-pay model and emphasizes clear communication, informed consent, and well-defined boundaries between services.
