I earned my Master of Social Work from the University at Buffalo in 2013, and for over a decade I’ve had the privilege of supporting people through some of life’s hardest moments. My background includes crisis work, medical social work in a large level 1 trauma medical center, and private practice, which means I’m comfortable sitting with big feelings, uncertainty, and the messy in-between spaces. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, burned out, or not quite like yourself, you’re not alone. I work with people navigating chronic illness, chronic pain, disabilities, including individuals with TBI or developmental disabilities. I also have a focus on women's and reproductive health concerns, identity exploration, neurodivergence, and LGBTQIA+ experiences. Having worked in a Level I trauma center for over eight years, I get the culture, the pace, and the weight of what healthcare professionals carry. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals experiencing suicidal thoughts or crises, and I approach those conversations with steadiness, compassion, and zero judgment. As someone living with chronic and women’s health challenges myself, I understand how isolating it can feel when others don’t fully “get it.” At the same time, I honor that your story is uniquely yours. Therapy with me is collaborative and strengths-based—you are the expert in your life. We’ll move at your pace, focus on what matters most to you, and build practical tools that actually fit your world. I am trained in ACT, EMDR, and Motivational Interviewing. Above all, I believe therapy should feel safe, respectful, and human. If something here resonates, I’d love to connect and see if we’re a good fit. You don’t have to figure this out on your own.
