Introduction

Tina is an independently licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is dedicated to providing excellent counseling service to her clients. Tina Likovetz, Ed.D., IMFT-S, is an independently licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Supervisor with more than 15 years of experience serving children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across community mental health, hospital, educational, and private practice settings. She earned her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Management from Capella University and a Master's degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University. Tina provides compassionate, evidence-based care utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, play therapy, art therapy, sandtray therapy, and relationship-focused interventions. She is also a trained provider of Prepare/Enrich and SYMBIS premarital and marital assessments, allowing her to help couples build stronger, healthier relationships. Tina is deeply passionate about helping individuals and families discover hope, healing, and lasting change. She believes exceptional mental health care begins with creating a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship where every client feels heard, respected, and empowered. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a commitment to both clinical excellence and leadership, serving as a clinical team leader, mentoring fellow therapists, developing professional training programs, and helping secure grant funding to expand expressive therapy resources for children and adolescents. Whether supporting a child through play therapy, guiding a family through difficult transitions, or helping couples strengthen their relationships, Tina is dedicated to providing thoughtful, personalized care that promotes resilience, emotional wellness, and meaningful growth. Tina is accepting new clients. Appropriate referrals include children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
