Introduction

Growing up, there were times when people I cared about would confide in me during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. I wanted so badly to help, but I often felt like I didn’t have the knowledge or tools to truly make a difference. Those experiences inspired me to pursue a career in counseling so I could gain the education and training needed to help others heal and grow. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master of Science in Counseling from Southeastern Louisiana University, where I specialized in marriage and family counseling. I use evidence-based approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help individuals and couples navigate challenges, strengthen relationships, and find lasting healing. My goal is to provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward. As a Christian counselor, I’m happy to incorporate faith into therapy for clients who desire it. For those who do not, I provide the same compassionate, evidence-based care while respecting each person’s unique beliefs, values, and goals.
