As both a licensed counselor and a registered nurse, T.J. blends his backgrounds in mental health and medical care to offer clients a truly holistic perspective. He integrates nursing knowledge with his counseling expertise to address the intersection of mind and body, helping clients navigate not only emotional challenges but also the broader factors that affect their overall well-being. Academically, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Quinnipiac University, his master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairfield University, and a Certificate of Nursing from Yale University. He is currently pursuing an advanced degree in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Yale University, further bridging the worlds of counseling and advanced nursing practice.
