About Resilient Path Counseling & Therapy I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, collaborative, and grounded in trust. Many of the clients I work with are capable, insightful individuals who have spent years managing stress, relationships, and responsibilities—often at the expense of their own emotional well-being. With over 26 years of experience working with substance use disorders, I bring a deep understanding of how coping strategies develop, why they persist, and how emotional regulation, trauma, and relationships intersect. This background informs my work with clients who may not identify substance use as their primary concern but recognize patterns of avoidance, emotional overwhelm, or disconnection. I work with adults and couples who want to understand themselves more clearly, improve communication, and move out of reactive or protective patterns that no longer serve them.
